Our brand's gear has officially passed the test of the harshest climate on the planet. The National Antarctic Scientific Center has awarded PROTECTOR® a special “Antarctic-Tested” certification.
A partnership proven over the years
Our shared history with the NASC began back in 2019, when the brand was known as TREKKING®. Since then, the kit issued to Ukrainian polar explorers has included PROTECTOR® products every year, among them mid-season compression knee socks and winter socks for the various conditions of the expedition’s work.
That kind of consistency is a mark of trust that has now held for years. And that is the clearest proof of all that our products really do stand up to real-world strain – year after year.

A gift for the “combat penguins”
The award presentation was one more chance for us to thank those who are defending our country today. A symbolic moment of the meeting was the handover of 27 special sets of trekking socks for the Ukrainian polar explorers who are now serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the NASC they are warmly and affectionately called “combat penguins.”
For us, this is far more than just a gift. It provides care and support for people who once worked in Antarctica and are now defending Ukraine at the hottest points of the front line.
